About Me
- esteban
- I was born in Connecticut and was raised on the east coast of the US. I went to college and obtained a degree in ecology and environmental technology. I did not follow the path of my education, and instead was a commercial fisherman in Alaska for 25 years. Two years ago my partner and I pulled our roots from the States and made a brave move to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico to join other artists. I had already been seriously painting for about 8 years, but now my life was consumed by it. I love what I am doing and my skills are improving with lessons and time to practice. This is what gives me life. I have had some great teachers: Susan Martin Spar and Carmen Hermenez, and many others.
